Established in 1988 by Petros Tapolos (the managing director), the company enjoyed nation-wide success and recognition due to it’s high standard of workmanship and reliability.
Over the years P.N Tapolos & Co. Ltd undertook major contracts including the electrical engineering and supervision for many of the largest hotels and apartment villages in Ayia Napa and Protaras, these include the Olympic Napa Hotel, The Napa Shopping Centre, Anastasia Beach Hotel, Fig Tree Gardens Hotel Apartments and over 30 other projects.
P.N Tapolos & Co. Ltd also beat many competitors to win a major contract with the British Sovereign Bases.
The managing Director – Petros Tapolos
Petros graduated with a doctor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Genova in Italy.
It was his ambition to run his own company and so when he returned to Cyprus, after gaining a few years of experience as a technical manager at a large hotel, he formed his own company (P.N Tapolos & Co. Ltd) which became hugely successful.
A member of the Scientific –Technical Chamber of Cyprus and a certified Electrical Engineer Class A’ Petros was very proud when his company was offered contracting work for three of the British Sovereign bases in Cyprus, he felt that this proved that the company had reached a very high standard indeed, a standard that Petros had been working towards for a long time!
Following the success of his first company, he decided to create Tapolos Developers, a company that would be based on the same high standards as Tapolos & Co. Ltd.
A Bright Idea!!
Petros did some research into the real estate market and saw that there was a gap that needed to be filled.
He realized that there was a lack of smaller, more exclusive developments in the area and that most of the developments being built consisted of larger complexes that didn’t provide much privacy for the owner.
Design was also an issue, as the complexes being built in and around the area possessed little and more often than not, no character.
Equally important was customer care, Petros wanted Tapolos Developers to be a family run business and he intended to know every single one of his customers and be on hand to advice and help them from beginning to end.
Finally, after much thought and consideration, Petros had a plan of action;
